A New Chapter
Building the First Islamic Boarding School in Texas
After taking pride in being the first madrasah for Tahfeezul Qur’an in Houston, Madrasah Islamiah is now taking a step toward building the first Islamic boarding school in Greater Houston, Texas. With Allah’s guidance we found the ideal location in Richmond, TX (1612 Crabb River Rd) — an area where the Muslim community is growing but lacks masajid, community centers and Islamic schools.
We have secured land for the small masjid, where we offer daily, Friday and Eid prayers, but must purchase the full property. The project — a grand mosque, Islamic boarding school and community center — is supervised by Hafiz Muhammad Iqbal.
