All praise be to Allah, and Salat and Salam be to rasulullah صلى الله عليه و سلم Allah Ta’ala has sent rasulullah صلى الله عليه و سلم to the entire mankind with four fundamental purposes
(1) Tilawat or reciting the book of Allah onto them
(2) Taleem or teaching them his book
(3) Taleem or teaching them the Hikmah and Sunnah
(4) Tazkiyah or beautifying them with all good ethics and purifying them from all evils.
Deeni education along with inner and outer purification is a fundamental need for individual of all ages in all circumstances. This need gets more critical when it comes to a culture polluted with Kufr, and fisq disbelieving and disobeying. Continuous efforts in Muslim civilization have been made throughout the history to meet this fundamental need. MADRASAH ISLAMIAH is merely a humble knop to this continuous chain with the will of Allah.
Considering the sensitivity of this serious need, depending on Allah Ta’ala along with the Dua and Mashwara from world illustrious scholars, Hafiz Muhammad Iqbal sahib (student of hazrat Maulana Yousuf Bennuri rah.) established MADRASAH ISLAMIA (previously MASJID NOOR). In 1989 an old child care was rented, and then the same property was bought in1990. Then it was remodeled in 1991 for a prayer hall that could accommodate nearly 850 people. It also facilitate sister section with all arrangements. It has the administration unit, classrooms, library and a book store and cafeteria.
MADRASAH ISLAMIAH takes the pride of being the first madrasa for tahfeezul quran al kareem (memorization of the holy Quran) and for producing more than 100 huffaz throughout the Houston. They are now either completing their Alim course in various Darul Uloom of the world or perusing their career in different field of educations. Some of them are now great imams in masajid of Houston and holding different religious classes in the city.
Our mission is preparing today’s Talibul Ilm (students) for contemporary and oncoming challenges by installing higher spiritual and ethical values of Islam, so there would be a positive effect on their actions, and approach in the layout of their lives as well as of the lives of others. And to provide with physical, emotional intellectual, educational and social growth factors to structure and develop their minds, characters and attitudes in accordance with Quran and Sunnah. Having this mission on our hands we are committed to the following principles;
الإحسان و السلوك
Instilling a constant rooted Taqwa (consciousness) of Allah Ta’ala, and a profound love for Rasulullah صلى الله عليه و سلم that would lead a student to earn the ultimate pleasure of Allah and to willingly abide by the Sunnah of Rasulullah صلى الله عليه و سلم.

Providing with a long termed Islamic education along with academics in a pure Islamic environment that would help a student build his career of intensive wisdom toward the comprehensive understanding of Quran and Sunnah from technical Arabic resources.

Facilitating a student accompanying a group of concerned, qualified Shuyukh (teachers) who are committed to dedicate their lives to serve the Deen of Allah sincerely intending to nurture the personalities of each studenttowards the highest moral and social qualities and characters of SAHABA رضي الله عنهمto make him a model and an exemplary citizen among the nation.

In Islam, education is never intended to achieve degrees or positions, rather, it is only intended to achieve real ma’rifat and recognition of Allah and bring the knowledge into practice of life and to spread the Deen to the entire world.
As a real successor and inheritor of the legacy of rasulullah صلى الله عليه و سلم a student is also trained to do the works of Dawah in all form with a concern of how to get the servants of Allah connected to Allah.
After striving a long journey with favorable and adverse phases MADRASAH ISLAMIAH is Alhamdulillah proud to provide some excellent contribution to Muslim community in the United States of America.
MADRASAH takes the pride of producing more than hundred Huffaz since 1990 to 2016.
Most of the Huffaz who are leading taraweeh in different masajid of Houston are Ahamdulillah graduated from MADRASAH ISLAMIAH.
Madrasah sponsored a good number of highly qualified scholars to Houston and they served the Deen in many places of Houston and in United States at large, some of them are now offering a very pleasant service to the Muslim Society all across the United States. some High Profile Personalities are
